Elon is a douchenozzle but a couple of things:
1. At least he's modified his estimates instead of just plowing ahead with the $2 trillion number.
2. People act like this $2 trillion was rooted in some sort of reality. He was basically telling us how the movie went when he'd seen the trailer at best. It was a wildly inaccurate estimate, but it was an estimate.
I mean I guess the idea is that it discredits him as a business genius. Um, not really, it's not a business.
