#ScribesAndMakers »27 Tell a story, real or fictional, about an object on your desk/work area
This wooden cross I have on my desk might surprise people who know I'm an atheist. Its story is from back in 2022. My dad passed away after several months of illness. During that time a friend of his opened her home to me to stay in when I had to travel down to deal with everything. She's a devout Christian, involved in the local Anglican church and was about to retire as a religious studies teacher.
