It can *seem* like it would be better to leave administration to the professionals and spend your time on what you think your job is (research and teaching).
Then just a few years later, you're being forced to use the "Microsoft 365 Copilot App" and all your indispensible internal tools are getting shut down by University Information Services due to actually fabricated security issues...
