Yes, very much. It has mostly to do with the lovely community at the Friday Fictioneers. We read each others stories and give feedback (at least that's the idea). I've written for that challenge for more than ten years now, with an occasional 'dry' spell, and it gave me ideas for many of my unfinished longer projects.
With other drabble challenges I tried, there hardly was any feedback at all, and that's no fun.
