GrapheneOS + microG + Aurora = For the Win!
True, it may not validate, but I do not do banking on my phone. I just need the bare minimum to get apps to work without using Google's actual software, and do not care if someone says:

Well, if everything is inside that sandbox, communicating and connecting within that sandbox, then that is still a problem.
To put it another way... If you act stupid inside a visual machine, you still get stupid.
Google is the stupid, I'd like to avoid, while still using my apps that, unfortunately, still rely upon their madness. And I am OK with tricking them, making them believe they're using that madness.
So yes, I am having my cake, and I am eating it too, and it seems to be working well for me.
