Six years ago we traveled within Brazil on an airline called Passaredo.
We were very surprised to see the plane before boarding. It had exposed rust, several dents and during the flight even the stewardess (who was supposed to be used to it) looked terrified at every turbulence.
Fortunately we arrived safely at our destination. In any case, we are making sure that all our acquaintances, friends and relatives never take a flight with this company.
6 years later, we heard about a plane that went into a vertical spiral over a city in Sao Paulo. A passenger sent a message to her family before boarding saying that the plane was old and frightening.
The company was the same as our flight, but changed the name to Voepass. Same bad habits.
Probably after this Friday's disaster, with 62 deaths. They will change their name again. It is the responsibility of the people to know the history of these types of companies and not expect the state to do all the oversight.
