no idea; firmware modding is one of those things that I am vaguely aware of the existence of, but not something I'm willing to risk bricking my daily driver camera for. (And none of my old cameras happen to be ones that people have modded, alas.)
That said, if I saw a toot from Luna one day saying that she'd made some kind of firmware mod for a newer camera that nobody has ever modded before, I'd be very seriously impressed but not even remotely surprised
