yeah. some people had to flee for their lives from a warzone cause putin invaded. and that is worse. but fascists in the US were and are coming for people like me. i say we fled our home because we didn't leave it in an orderly fashion, we just left cause we decided it was then or never and got on a plane. the whole process was maybe not as bad as getting out of an active warzone, but it was still horribly traumatic, so you can piss off and get blocked if you give me shit about my choice of words or tell me to basically go fuck myself because i was lucky enough to be born a european so i could easily go back to the EU. that doesn't mean that i wasn't forced out of my fucking home, the home i made for myself, by literal fascists who literally advocate for my death in politics
