1. You are self-hosting everything, AND
2. You have all of your IoT devices on a separate VLAN from the rest of your network, AND
3. Your firewall rules prohibit that VLAN from communicating with ANYTHING but the required local server.
Also, your cell phone is an IoT device. Treat it as such.
