Galileo is great, but people speak about resilience, sovereignty and independence way too soon without thinking about all the technical nuances. Most consumer devices are multi-constellation and use GPS, GLONASS, Beidou and Galileo. They are not very configurable and not very smart. I wonder what would happen if the US decides to turn Selective Availability back again (that's a mechanism that greatly degrades the civilian GPS positioning accuracy).
