Can you help me understand your rationale for small journalism staying on the dead bird site? Twitter isn't like electricity or water service that people can't live without. It seems like a copout to say you can't afford to leave the site be because of X, Y or Z. I suppose there probably are folks who might face true hardships if they leave, but even then, it seems like transitioning away could be a gradual process over no more than six months.
I just don't understand how all these Twitter users seem to think they are a victim of circumstance and have no choice.
What am I missing?
