Almost a year ago Callisto and I set off alone on this wild adventure to New York City. We stayed in a really neat little hotel in Soho and I specifically picked it because it has a dog park on the premises… Of sorts a very citified dog park but a dog park nevertheless! It was only a short trip because New York City is too expensive for my blood so we couldn't stay very long, but we packed a lot of fun into those two days and I will never forget how simultaneously thrilled and terrified I was, a Deafblind spastic vertiginous woman with lung disease alone with her service dog! A dog that I trained myself from puppyhood. We spent time eating delicious food, going to the intrepid sea air and space museum, walking through Times Square just to say we did it and we could!
