... years ago in a rural area, there were still some outhouses in use.
I remember one behind the grimy old Texaco station at the end of town. A two-holer. Nothing more than a minimal wood shed with a bench over holes in the ground.
One word: spiders
Anyway, I did hear stories about pranks being pulled on people's outhouses. Tipping them over. Esp. Halloween. Maybe that's where wrapping with TP got started? IDK.
