After a looooong back-and-forth with my ISP (literally years 🙄), I finally have a public IP on my fiber router again.
My ancient neckbeard approach is currently to forward public port 222 to SSH on a Raspi, but that is a) somewhat limiting and b) probably not very secure long-term, I already got visited by 4 portscans since yesterday... 🤔
So what's the current state-of-the-art solution for secure access to my home network? OpenVPN, SSH tunnel, something else?
