That was my basic point as well, especially since the "subfertility" curve begins even earlier. Women who want children really should just start young. This is not moralizing - it is practicality. I have seen lives ruined because of delusional thinking.

I do wonder about high paternal age. I know this girl, she is a Zoomer, but her father is a Boomer (I am guessing this was a 2nd marriage thing). He must have been 50 when he had her, doing the math. She is an introverted high functioning autist/edgelord and very male-brained and high IQ by female standards. I wonder how much of the "neurodivergent" character of this girl is because of how old the father was. It's a bit like Donald and Barron Trump.

That said, I still think it makes sense for younger women to pair up with older men if they want children. I mean that would definitely be the case if I ever go there. But high paternal age may not be ideal either.
