But I *was* that flag waving feminist for the sisterhood for while, many years ago.

I was idealistic and starry eyed about the whole situation.

Until I saw more and more evidence of people pushing some of the worst bigotry under the banner of feminism.

Again.

And again.

And again.

And I would see public opinion poll after public opinion poll indicating widespread prejudice against trans people, regardless of the sex of the respondent.

After years of that, something inside me snapped.
