Personally, I was not impressed by this, it too much resembles using rape victims as a Trojan horse to help Lammy.
Unless Fleet outlines how her ideas would speed up the backlogs in police work and CPS casework, and examples of where not using a jury actually brings a whole class of cases forwards by months or years, I’ll remain sceptical.
Justice delayed is still justice denied.
