GM! Paintings from the Cave of Altamira, a cave complex located in Cantabria, Spain. It is renowned for its prehistoric cave art featuring charcoal drawings and polychrome paintings of contemporary local fauna. The earliest paintings were applied during the Upper Paleolithic, around 36,000 years ago. The site was discovered in 1868.

The caves were closed to public access in 2002 due to the paintings being damaged by the carbon dioxide and water vapour in the breath of the large number of visitors. A replica cave and museum were built nearby in 2001, reproducing the cave and its art.
