You know what's interesting? 2-3 years ago when I was in a deep state of psychosis due to ongoing abuse and undiagnosed bipolar at the time, I was right leaning. Not necessarily a full Republican or a conservative but definitely an anti feminist pick me and a Trump supporter. I was still in psychosis when I became a feminist and joined Spinster so my mindset was different then as well. I believed all men were evil for what men had done to me.
Now I can't help but notice how hard of a shift I have made towards the left now that I am no longer experiencing psychosis. I despise Trump with all of my heart and I am going to try to vote him out of office come November. I am a feminist, I don't believe all men are evil but average men have misogynistic, violent, and narcissistic behaviors socialized into them since they are born, and this must end. I still am not fully on board with the left for all the transgender psychosis they have been pushing for like a decade, but I do have empathy for a lot of the people who fall into it since bullshit gender roles are constraining and suffocating and cause dysphoria in the first place, they must be abolished.
Is being a liberal really linked with mental illness as the right likes to claim? Well, maybe for some. There are genderspecial people who are mentally ill for sure. But for me, being a conservatard was mental illness. I am glad to be out of that and I am glad other people are waking up too. Trump's approval ratings are in the dumpster, let's make sure they get even lower.
