Yeah I saw video comparisons of the two, and honestly, my only complaints are that the plunge WASN'T themed to Facilier (come on!!) and there's a lot of screen effects, which I'm just simply not a fan of compared to painted sets and animatronics. Otherwise it's a really pretty ride, the ending with the characters all performing together is really great! Underrated movie that deserved a chance to shine. I understand folks' nostalgia for Splash Mountain, I'm a very nostalgic person too, but I think this was a very tasteful revamp and people are way more critical of it than it deserves.
