Cash and gold have been transacting privately for millennia. No complex electronic devices needed. No permission needed over some complex network infrastructure.
Every paycheck I take out $1,000+ cash to pay for things like groceries, gas, clothing, consumables, date night, etc... Nothing ever gets recorded on a blockchain. The Palintirs (Big Tech and the Government) have no idea where that money goes.
Why humanity has to complicate things with complex digital technology over a global Internet completely baffles me.
