Here we go again! ;) To all my followers who might suddenly find themselves shocked that I would be "defending RFK Jr" when it comes to tylenol/paracetamol and autism - no, that's not at all what I'm doing. He's an ignorant idiot.
As my profile says; I read scientific reports instead of popular headlines*. When the leaks came that the current US regime would claim "tylenol causes autism" I had already since years back followed the science on the subject (I have an autistic child).
... and the state of that science, whilst muddy, is that there might be something there. A correlation, although definitely not any strong evidence for causation**.
If you're now posting that "there's no scientific basis for the claim that tylenol use by pregnant mothers cause increased risk for autism" you're the one that's bordering on being anti-science.
Sorry.
... I'd suggest "no causal relationship has been found in the scientific consensus" instead. That still refutes the lunatics - and is accurate.
