liberation and statehood are different things, unfortunately many confuse the two.
Hamas is an islamic army, palestinian state didn't exist, so it is an unofficial army, but with a large degree of tolerance for its existence among palestinians.
Naive? What would have happened if there was NO army called palestinian? ISIP would have appeared?
