#BookReview for "The Myth of Repressed Memory: False Memories and Allegations of Sexual Abuse" by Dr. Elizabeth Loftus
Not bad.
Overly poetic. Important but emotionally difficult content. Destroys the myth of "repressed memories" and describes the harm done to many families. My thought: the tactics of these well-meaning therapists are very similar to those of abusers and cults. They displayed an appalling lack of critical thinking.
