Yes, sure. I think traditional jam makers didn't use pectin, they just simmered it down to the appropriate thickness. You'll want to add lemon or lime juice, I'm not sure plums are acidic enough to preserve well. Then water bath can it. I make jam from jalapenos, blueberries and raspberries without pectin. All I really add is lemon or lime juice and sugar. #Gardening
