The therapy warm line told me I should list my accomplishments without modesty or downplaying it and seek feedback from others to cope with the looming threat of my relatives confronting me in person. Now that they found me.

So here goes.

I survived 30 years of physical, psychological, emotional, and sexual abuse at the hands of my relatives.

I escaped from them with money I got from sex work.

I couch surfed with people I barely knew, lived with gangsters, and in 2 trap houses.

I survived the streets in Tricities Washington as a homeless disabled transwoman, a world of chaos and violence.

I survived 3 encounters with cougars, 3 bouts of life threatening dehydration, 4 covid infections, pneumonia, sepsis, and a knee injury.

I survived 6 fights with meth-heads and intimdated 2 outlaw bikers into leaving me alone.

I got clean off of 2 addictions and am now celebrating my 6 months of sobriety with my Sponsor and NA fam.

I lived in and was kicked out of 2 oxford houses.

I was psychiatrically hospitalized involuntarily after surviving a serious suicide attempt where I hung myself. I woke up in the ER in a neck brace.

I got an official autism diagnosis to replace the defunct one from my childhood.

I got myself off the street and into a short-term rental.

I got myself the help I needed.

I owned and learned from my mistakes and grew as a person. I forgave people who didn't deserve it, but I also set boundaries, which I will enforce at the risk of my life and limb.

I stopped letting people take me for a ride. I stand up for myself and my sacred honor. Don't call me any slurs, or try to fight me, or I will beat your ass in a goddamn second. I don't hesitate. I have lived in a do or die world, and your health is your problem. I will defend myself.

I'm more g than my living relatives. I wish a mfer would. I'm a totally different person than they knew. If they try to come up here to mess with the life I built from nothing, they will find out. Fuck around and find out.
