It’s crazy how many strangers feel it’s necessary to warn my wife and I about all the hard times ahead of us when they see our baby. So many unhappy parents out there feel obligated to express how miserable they are.

There have been MAYBE 2 people (outside of family) that smile and tell me to enjoy every bit of it.
I’ll keep enjoying the hard times, as I’m sure they’ll change into different obstacles later on.
Nobody ever told me how much I'd love seeing my kid every time... even at 3am.
A new #dadstr goal as I grow older will be to neverdoom to new dads.
