I don't think it's because they started out being dependent on the insect people 😏 I think it's because the insect people made them dependent on them so they can sell tickets to the zoo. Basically like what White people have done with the 3rd world and made them all dependent on our productivity to even exist because like Devon Stack said, we're K select humans who built K select living standards in R select populations where they're used to over breeding due to natural mass die offs
