This doesn't mean China won't dominate the next century, they likely will, Trump is working hard to make sure of that, but they won't threaten Europe, at least not for a very long time, because Europe doesn't threaten their prime directive.
China will continue to build extractive relationships with the developing world where they have the leverage to do so, and they will be sure to not give India or any other BRICS member leverage over them.
