Let's say you're making a contribution to an #FOSS project. It's one of those projects will a small core and many add-on components.

The maintainers say: have you run the test suite?

You run the tests and it requires spinning up non-open source software because of one of these add-ons that may/may not be relevant to your contribution.

So, every contribution requires running a non-OSS software. How do you feel about this?
