I sense that your purpose in this post is not to reveal a hidden theological truth, buuuut...
What you said is actually orthodoxy. It's the fulfillment of prophecy and promise. The great sacrificial gift of love and salvation Jesus, himself, spoke of with full knowledge in John 3(esp 16). The Bible says that the Jews persecuted and killed many prophets that God sent to them, and the Jesus illustrated the dynamic nicely in his parable of the vinyard owner in Matthew 21:33-46. The "Jews" were the religious/political leaders as illustrated in that parable and they did act, according to the Bible, under the direction of Satan who wanted to derail Gods promise to mankind in Genesis 3:15 but instead fulfilled it. Whew! Fun stuff.
