I remember seeing this years ago, thanks for the post. Was interesting to reread, and has held up well.
I think it was an important piece to help change my thinking about Bitcoin early on... As I grew up in a yuppie/upper middle class neighborhood, and yet struggled to care about fitting in. Many of my classmates went on to upper crust schools, but I didn't like or care avout playing the social status game/career, etc.
