My son was telling me about a short he'd seen, contesting the idea that if women were in charge there'd be no wars. Commentator said there would, but just "for no reason." Everyone was laughing; my son wasn't. 💓

So 🤔... perhaps 'reasons' are for those with power (it goes unspoken they're ‘good’ reasons)?

While things like 'excuses' are for those with less power who aren't doing exactly what you want them to. Think of a kid arriving late at school.
