they are excellent for wearing for long durations and standing. i discovered this because crocs are insanely popular in operation theaters. and the difference between rubber chappals which is what we used in college, and crocs is so stark plenty places have replaced the OT chappals with crocs. a prof of mine went and bought twnety of these from his trip abroad and that is how it got started in my college. no one wears them outside the OT :)
