It's not the easiest to control but I can think of worse stuff. We used to have land which had sheep on it many years ago and it would grow on a matt of 3 inches of soil on a concrete base so might do ok in a pot or tray or fenced in with edging of some kind. You will have to make sure you keep hacking it down otherwise it will set seed.

See if you can find a patch locally before you take the hard option especially if you don't like getting stung.
