I had a flight, last year, the first time in more than a decade. And I actually blacked out.

I didn't understand that word until then. I assumed it was a drunk thing, that involved passing out. But no, I had 2 hours on the flight out that I couldn't remember afterwards. I know I had my arms folded, my ear buds in, and the engine was roaring above the sound of my music. Last row in the back. I remember the first hour after take off, using the restroom, and the landing.
