This sounds like something who inherited nothing would say.

I postulate that if you set up your plans in a such a way that everyone who inherits must still prove themselves worthy first, will not have this issue. I can see if you just hand an 18 years old $10 million that they will fuck up their lives, but not if they had to go through character building first, then receive it at 30 if they prove worthy.
