⚡️⚠️ WARNING - Hackers are now exploiting the Ledger incident to launch a new scam aimed at emptying your crypto wallets.

While millions of dollars were recently stolen from physically tampered Ledger devices, scammers are now capitalizing on users’ panic.
SlowMist is warning about a fake security update campaign that uses Ledger’s official visual branding to appear completely legitimate.

Victims receive a message stating that an urgent update is needed to protect their device from spyware.
The fake process displays the various Ledger models, an authenticity check, and an “Update Now” button, giving the impression of a genuine security procedure.

Never initiate an update from a link received via email, and never enter your recovery phrase on a website or computer.
A genuine update is performed through the official Ledger app.
