A big problem problem I'm having planning a trip to the Netherlands is that bike shares, and to an extent public transit, assume that every rider has a smartphone and is adult sized - and I'm traveling with a child.
For transit, we can buy an anonymous card at a station I think. But bike activation requires a smartphone per bike, no options.
