I feel that too. I thought about being afk in the last weeks as I felt it support my mental health. I'm not following news since 7 years now and it has done good to me. And I abandoned most social media because I felt not being good enough with my art, business and life. Fediverse is different though but I also have to tightly curate accounts I follow. Some people only share negativity or twitteresque general blaming about everything. And I don't have the capacity for this anymore.
