We're paying more than three times as much for an eight-year-old Accord as we paid eight years ago for a nine-year-old Ford Fusion.
Hondas retain their resale value better than Fords, and the Accord is a much nicer car, and the Ford had more miles on it when we bought but still, car prices have gone up _a lot_ in the past eight years.
