This paragraph from Crisis of the Modern World is arguably the core passage upon which SAIF was formed as re-articulation of Guénonian metaphysics for the 21st century.

A quick tl;dr of Guénon's view in the passage:
Tradition is a metaphysical teaching and has its root and source in divine revelation. However, the wellsprings of this traditional wisdom has dried up in the West and should be sought in the East.

SAIF, like any real traditional or esoteric group, is intentionally critical and guarded toward the discussion of their most profound, recondite aspects (they are a cult for a reason). Without initiation true access is difficult and not exactly open to the casual observer. This is why the reading list is such a valuable resource for anyone aligned as without immersion in the traditions of the texts it is nearly impossible to interpret and penetrate the depth and ambition of SAIF.

Islam has no clergy (despite any appearances to the contrary) which makes it, in practice, very individual and private to the degree that strict doctrine is unnatural. The necessary esoteric connection is a matter of individual spiritual orientation. If the periphery but confirms their orientation back to the source, then there remains hope.
