we're getting very close to the problem here. transistor 389's base-emitter junction is reverse biased, so it is turned off. i pulled the transistor and tested it, so i know it works.
but despite it being off, we know there is current flowing in resistor 757 due to the voltage drop. so where is the current coming from? it can't be from the transistor since it is off.
