"content": "The fence jumping problem is the meat shortage solution\nhttps://cdn.nostr.build/p/W8yj.jpg\nhttps://cdn.nostr.build/p/P0qW.jpg\nhttps://cdn.nostr.build/p/QL4J.jpg\nThis ewe was notorious for jumping fences and getting progressively more bold. We needed to remove her from the flock before all the other sheep learned from her. We also usually harvest a large lamb around this time of the year to bridge the gap until we harvest the rest of the lambs in the fall. Managed to solve two problems at once, all while building experienicial capital. Even though I've been raising sheep for several years I've slaughtered less than a dozen myself.
