PlayStation will be ending physical discs. That's good news because physical stuff is no longer the future.
Throw out all your videos games in the garbage. It's useless to keep a box of old videos games around.
I bet Nintendo won't do the same because the Japanese are stuck in the old traditional dying mindset.
I don't actually own a PlayStation or Nintendo anymore as I have moved on to digital games on the PC.
