terrifying. interestingly nothing gets deleted when you (or in this case: they) delete an account. They just mark the userid as "unused". Signing up with the same email address relinks your uploads. Really they should relink everything including the old username. They seem typically reluctant to go the whole way on this but I'll keep pressing
