super easy
Cut tomato in half put them on a tray cut side facing up.
Put brown sugar on them (be generous)

Or just plain balsamic vinegar
A drizzle of olive oil on top
Bake in the oven.
The sugar will become like toffee and contrast with the tart of the tomatoes
