RLAs represent a HUGE breakthrough. It means we can enjoy the efficiency and accuracy benefits of automation without the risks that the machines are behaving incorrectly or even maliciously.
A big focus of current work in election security is helping state and local election officials implement RLAs as a routine part of their election certification process.
