Previously, such equipment was designed to not go and fire automatically, which ensured that nothing ever happens.

But now there's chatbots designed to go and bruteforce things haphazardly - thus if certain inputs trigger the firing mechanism and a chatbot is hooked up, the chatbot may eventually trigger the mechanism and then things happen.
