The instance seems to be running super smoothly now, perhaps even better than before, and everything is mostly cached and rendered and "healed" at this point. I was legitimately about ready to redeploy the entire instance. I'm so thankful for his help and expertise in fixing the plague of missing images after purging the cache//files.
